After you depart Casablanca you will travel along the beautiful Atlantic coast, past lush agricultural areas to Rabat (the current Imperial City of Morocco), which includes a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As the day continues, you will head towards Fes, stopping at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis.
Volubilis is considered one of the best-preserved examples of a Roman colonial city on the fringes of the Empire. Nestled amidst rolling hills and fertile plains, Volubilis invites you to return to the days when ancient Rome left an indelible mark on North Africa.

Traveling south from Fes, we will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert. On our way, situated in the Middle Atlas Mountains about an hour south of Fes is Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” with its alpine village architecture. Ifrane National Park, located nearby, is known for its cedar forests and diverse wildlife, including Barbary macaques, which will eat right out of your hands. *This is an optional stop

On your way to the beautiful fishing village of Essaouira, you can stop at an Argan Cooperative run entirely by women, and have an opportunity to shop for the many products they create, including cosmetics, cooking oil, argan butter, and medicinal products.
Essaouira has a relaxed vibe. Musicians, including Prince, Cat Stevens, Jimi Hendrix, and the Rolling Stones, used to hang out here, playing their music on the beach. Kite surfers come from all over the world to enjoy the wind and magic of the surf here. You will see them on your way into town.

Now we’ll travel north along the Atlantic Coast to relax in the luxury of Mazagan Beach Resort, which includes a luxury spa, beautiful beaches and pools, several restaurants, a large casino, entertainment, horseback riding, ATV rides, and a world-class golf course.
